The Christmas season might be almost finished, yet the 2018 honors season has just barely started. As stimulation essayists know, the following three months—finishing with the 90th Academy Awards in March—will be a relentless honor demonstrate furor. Expectations will be made, illicit downloads will be shared and “film Twitter” will be out and out intolerable.
For your reference, here’s a calendar for all the up and coming honor appears, from the Golden Globes to the Oscars.
Designations: The 2018 Golden Globe selections were reported on December 15, with Guillermo del Toro’s The Shape of Water, HBO’s Big Little Lies and Steven Spielberg’s The Post driving in assignments. Read the total rundown here.
Show: The 75th Annual Golden Globes, facilitated by Seth Meyers, will air on January 7 at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.
Commentators’ Choice Awards
Designations: The TV and film selections for the 2018 Critics’ Choice Awards were declared on December 6, with The Shape of Water in the number one spot once more. View the full rundown here.

Show: The 23rd yearly Critics’ Choice Awards will air live on the CW January 11, at 8 p.m. ET.
PGA (Producers Guild of America) Awards
Designations: The PGA grant assignments will be reported January 5.
Show: The victors of the 29th Annual Producers Guild Awards will be declared at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles on January 20, however won’t be communicated live.
Hang (Screen Actors Guild) Awards
Assignments: The SAG Award selections were reported December 13. Greta Gerwig’s Lady Bird, Martin McDonagh’s Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri and Netflix’s GLOW ended up as the winner with the most selections.
Show: The SAG Awards will air live on January 21 on TNT and TBS. Surprisingly, the service will have a host: The Good Place star Kristen Bell.
Assignments: Nominations for the Grammys were reported on November 28, with rapper Jay-Z in the number one spot with eight selections for his collection 4:44.
Show: The 60th Annual Grammy Awards will air live on January 28 on CBS at 7:30 p.m. ET, facilitated by late-night humorist James Corden.
BAFTA (British Academy of Film and Television Academy) Awards
Designations: The BAFTA assignments will be declared on January 9. You can watch the assignments through live stream on the BAFTA YouTube channel.
Show: The BAFTA Awards will air live February 18 on the BBC and BBC America. The correct broadcast appointment and host have not yet been declared.
Free Spirit Awards
Designations: The Independent Spirit Award chosen people were reported on November 21. Luca Guadagnino’s Call Me By Your Name drove with six selections and Jordan Peele’s Get Out taken after with five.
Show: Nick Kroll and John Mulaney will come back to have the Independent Spirit Awards for a second year on March 3, communicate live on IFC at 5 p.m. ET.
Selections: The 2018 Oscar assignments will be reported on January 23.
Show: The 90th yearly Academy Awards will communicate live from the Dolby Theater in Hollywood on March 4 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC. Late-night entertainer Jimmy Kimmel will have for the second year in succession.
